Statement of Beliefs:

We believe in one true God who is a continuing spiritual being; the personal, absolute, self-determining, non-derived, perfect existence; the all-powerful, all-present, all wise, all-loving, never changing, eternal creator and sustainer of all things; the One who governs all things according to the purposes of His will; the One who reveals Himself to mankind as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

We believe the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible to be divinely inspired and to be the only written record of God's revelation of Himself to man. These scriptures have God for their author, salvation for their end, and truth, without any mixture of error in the original writings, for their matter. These scriptures are the only sufficient, certain, and authoritative rule of all saving knowledge, faith and obedience; are the true center of Christian union; and provide the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. The basis upon which the Bible is to be interpreted is the person of Jesus Christ.

We believe in Jesus:

• Who is the Word - the complete, unabridged account or revelation of God to man;

• Who is the only begotten Son of God by the agency of the Holy Spirit through the miracle of a virgin birth;

• Who fulfilled the promise of the Anointed One of God to proclaim and provide release to the captives of sin and thereby is acknowledged as Messiah or Christ;

• Who lived a life in perfect fulfillment of the perfect standards of God's law;

• Who suffered and died on a cross to provide a substitutionary payment for the debt of mankind’s disobedience;

• Who was buried, rose again on the third day, and ascended to His Father to validate the sufficiency of His payment for disobedience for all time.

• Who lives today at the right hand of God the Father having been given a power, position, and authority above any other;

• Who reigns today and forever as the only Mediator between God and man and as the supreme Prophet, Priest, and King of the Church and as Sovereign of the Universe.

• Who will literally and imminently return to receive the Church unto himself and subsequently to judge the unsaved world and each person in it according to his deeds.

We believe that Man/Woman:

• Was created by God in His own image and was originally free from disobedience to God's standard of perfection.

• Transgressed the command of God, thereby incurring both physical death and spiritual death which entails a separation from God, and initiating a descendency of human beings born with a nature to disobey God;

• Is always disobedient to God's standard of perfection and is never capable through his own means of paying for the debt of this disobedience or of restoring his relationship with God;

• Is made right with God, becomes a child of God, and is assured of eternal life with God by placing a total commitment of trust in who Jesus Christ is and in what Jesus has done for him.

• Will enjoy the indwelling presence, counsel, peace, and power of the Holy Spirit after trusting Christ and unreservedly yielding to His presence and provision.
